Christ school, Manipal holds valedictory ceremony of annual sports day

Udupi, Dec 17: The valedictory function of the Annual Sports Meet, which was inaugurated on December 15, was held at Christ School, Manipal. The chief guest of the programme was Husensab, traffic police sub-inspector, traffic station, Udupi.

In his address, the chief guest emphasised that students should actively participate in sports along with academics. He advised them to avoid excessive use of mobile phones and involve themselves in physical activities. He also highlighted the importance of strictly following traffic rules.

The correspondent, Fr Romeo Lewis, advised the students to inculcate discipline in their lives. The principal, Eliza Vaz, warmly welcomed the guests. Prizes and trophies were distributed to the winners. Shanthi announced the names of the prize winners.

A group dance was performed by students of classes 1, 3, 5, 7, and 9. Members of the management, parents, teachers, and non-teaching staff were present on the occasion. The programme was compered by teachers Sumalatha and Divya T and the vote of thanks was proposed by Reshma Suares.
