St Anthony’s Ashram celebrates community and commitment with 2026 calendar release

Mangaluru, Dec 17: The calendar of St Anthony’s Ashram, Jeppu, was formally released on December 16 at Milagres Church. The programme marked an important occasion, highlighting the life, mission, and service of the Ashram.

Speaking on the occasion, Fr J B Crasta, director of St Anthony’s Ashram, explained the careful preparation behind the calendar and acknowledged the dedicated efforts of all those involved in bringing it to completion. He noted that the calendar reflects the collective work and commitment of the Ashram community and its well-wishers.

The calendar, printed at Assisi Press, Mangaluru, consists of 12 pages portraying the daily life and routine of the residents, as well as the various activities in which they are actively involved. It offers meaningful insight into the mission of the Ashram and its service to society. The calendar is freely distributed to families across the Diocese.

Also present for the release were Fr Gilbert, the spiritual animator of the residents, and Fr Praveen Martis, the administrator of the institute. Following the release, copies of the calendar were freely distributed to the devotees.

In his vote of thanks, Fr J B Crasta expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Richard, one of the main sponsors, and to all those who contributed in various ways. He appreciated their generosity and goodwill, which made the initiative possible.
