Bantwal, Dec 19: The renovation works of St Patrick’s Church, Siddakatte, Bantwal, which is observing its centenary year, have reached the final stage. The inauguration and blessing of the renovated church will be held on January 22, 2026.

The invitation letter for the inauguration was formally released by parish priest Fr Daniel D'Souza and symbolically distributed to the office-bearers of the Renovation Committee, extending an invitation to all. On behalf of the Parish Pastoral Council, vice president Sunil Sequeira invited devotees and well-wishers to attend the grand occasion.

The Inaugural Committee comprises convener Gerald D'Costa, coordinator Praveen Crasta, Philip Menezes, along with other office-bearers and committee members. The programme was compered by PPC secretary Praveen Cutinha.

The renovation works, which commenced in November last year, progressed smoothly with the support and cooperation of donors and well-wishers. The renovated church will be blessed by Dr Peter Paul Saldanha, bishop of Mangalore.
