Udupi, Dec 20: The annual day celebration of Glowinstar Integrated School was a magnificent and memorable occasion, celebrated with great pomp, splendour, and festive spirit on December 18. The event was honoured by the gracious presence of the chief guest, Dr Puttanna K, and the guest of honour, Ujwal M Kotian, whose presence added dignity and warmth to the celebration.
The programme began on an auspicious and cheerful note, warmly welcoming the dignitaries, parents, teachers, and students. The chief guest and the guest of honour were formally introduced by Sumana, setting the tone for the grand celebration. The event was confidently and gracefully compered by Vaishali, Prarthana, Fadwa, and Thrishan of class 10, whose eloquent narration and seamless coordination kept the audience engaged throughout.
In her heartfelt address, Ujwal M Kotian shared her touching experience as a parent, expressing her joy and satisfaction with the nurturing environment of the school and emphasizing the transformative power of education in moulding young minds. This was followed by an inspiring and thought-provoking speech by the chief guest, Dr Puttanna K, which greatly motivated the students and the gathering.
The principal’s motivational address further encouraged students to dream big, work hard, and uphold strong values. Adding to the inspiration, Dr Nelson Pinto delivered an uplifting and impactful speech, leaving a lasting impression on the audience.
The annual report, presented by the headmistress, offered a comprehensive and impressive overview of the school’s academic achievements, co-curricular accomplishments, and steady progress throughout the year. The prize distribution ceremony that followed was a proud and joyous moment, as the achievers were honoured and applauded by the chief guest.
The cultural and entertainment programme was the highlight of the evening and captivated the audience completely. From the tiny tots to the students of class 10, every performance was marked by enthusiasm, confidence, grace, and vibrant energy.

The programme concluded with a colourful and emotionally stirring Sadbhavana dance, where various festivals were brought together on one stage, spreading a powerful message of unity, harmony, brotherhood, and national integration.
