New Delhi, Dec 22: The Pro Wrestling League (PWL), officially sanctioned by the Wrestling Federation of India (WFI), unveiled its new logo ahead of the fifth season, marking its return after a seven-year hiatus. The league is set to resume in January 2026, featuring top Indian and international wrestlers in a high-intensity, professionally managed competition.

The refreshed logo, inspired by the traditional red-and-blue wrestling mat, symbolizes strength, balance, and competitive spirit. It reflects a complete overhaul of the league’s structure and operations under new ownership, signaling a modern, dynamic approach to professional wrestling in India.

Under the guidance of ONO Media, led by Akhil Gupta and Dayaan Farooqui, the league aims to bridge the gap between grassroots akhadas and the global stage. By providing structured opportunities, international exposure, and a transparent athlete-first ecosystem, PWL seeks to support the long-term growth and credibility of wrestling in India.

“The new logo reflects our vision for a modern, aggressive, and world-class Pro Wrestling League,” said Akhil Gupta, CEO of PWL. “It represents a clean slate focused on transparency, professionalism, and sustainability. Our priority is creating a league that honours the sport and its athletes.”

Dayaan Farooqui, Chairman of PWL, added, “This logo launch marks a new era. The identity embodies trust, opportunity, and ambition. As we return after seven years, we are committed to placing athletes at the center and delivering a league that wrestlers, fans, and stakeholders can believe in.”

With its revamped identity and reimagined structure, the Pro Wrestling League is poised to usher in a new chapter for professional wrestling in India.
