Loreto English Medium High School celebrates Christmas with joy and devotion

Bantwal, Dec 26: Loreto English Medium High School CBSE, celebrated Christmas with great joy and devotion in the school auditorium.

The programme was graced by the presence of the school manager, Fr Francis Crasta, the chief guest, Fr Melwin Lobo, headmaster of Infant Jesus English Medium School, Modankap, PTA vice president Rodney Ivan D’Souza, and Anitha Pais, vice principal.

The dignitaries inaugurated the celebration by unveiling the gift box and adorning the Christmas tree with name plates symbolising Peace, Joy, and Merry Christmas.

On the eve of Christmas, a Christmas Star Making Competition was organised, and the winners were honored by the chief guest and the dignitaries.

Fr Melwin Lobo wished everyone a Merry Christmas and spoke about the birth of Jesus and the powerful message it gives to humanity love, hope, humility, and service to others. He encouraged students to follow these values in their daily lives.

The school manager Fr Francis Crasta in his address highlighted the true spirit of Christmas, emphasising love, sharing, caring for others, and faith in Jesus, who heals, comforts, and helps us overcome difficulties.

The celebration was enriched by a beautiful cultural programme presented by the students, which included melodious carol singing, a skit depicting the birth of Jesus, an angel dance, and the cheerful arrival of Santa Claus.

The programme was compered by Chinthana of grade 6, the welcome address was delivered by Ashmita of grade 8, and the vote of thanks was proposed by Muhamin of grade 7.
