Mangaluru, Dec 26: Christmas was celebrated at the Valachil campus of Expert Pre-University College with festive cheer.

VJ Dixon M, Global host, TV anchor & influencer was the chief guest on the occasion. He inaugurated the celebration by cutting the cake and expressed sincere appreciation for the teamwork, dedication and creativity of everyone in making the celebration meaningful and visually appealing.

Addressing the gathering Dr Ushaprabha N Nayak, vice charperson, Expert Group of Institutions described the day as beautiful and significant occasion at Expert where all religious festivals are celebrated with respect and unity. She drew thoughtful comparisons between Lord Krishna and Jesus Christ. She insisted that one must make sacrifices and contribute positively to the society.

In his keynote address, Ankush N Nayak, I T director, Expert Group of Institutions emphasised that love, empathy and hope are the true messages of life. He referred to the concept of the Star of Wonders symbolising light and guidance.
Celebrations included cultural programs comprising dances and carol singing.

Dr N K Vijayan Karippal, principal; Dhruthi V Hegde, vice principal (administration); Anitha P Shetty, CRM and members of the staff were among the attendees.
