Udupi: Four Injured in Bus-Truck Collision Near Heroor

Udupi, Feb 22: Four persons were injured in an accident that occured between a bus and a truck near Heroor here on Wednesday February 22.

The bus was plying from Sangli in Maharashtra to Mangalore, while the truck was plying from Kerala to Mumbai.

The two vehicles collided near Heroor on national highway 66 at around 3.30 am.

The injured have been identified as truck driver Mohammed, bus driver Naveen and two passengers.

Brahmavar police registered a case in this regard.

    National Highway 66 is becoming from bad to worst as there are so many accidents, most of them fatally. Luckily in this accident no one was killed except for four people injured. The transport department of Karnataka should do something about this before there are more severe accidents.
