Tulukoota Thailand renovates Padil Anganwadi school, handover on Jan 3

Media Release

Mangaluru, Dec 30: Tulukoota Thailand has successfully undertaken the renovation of a government anganwadi school at Padil here, marking a significant charitable initiative aimed at improving learning conditions for young children.

As part of the renovation work, repairs to the roof, civil structures, carpentry and plumbing have been completed. A new ceiling has been installed beneath the roof tiles to reduce heat during the summer months, ensuring a more comfortable environment for the children.

Painting work on the school building is currently underway and nearing completion.

The organisation is now in the process of procuring essential items including ceiling fans, a UPS to ensure uninterrupted power supply during school hours, steel almirahs for storage, a sound system with microphone for school programmes, wooden cabinets for kitchen use, and pressure cookers along with storage tins for midday meal preparation. Stationery, books, learning posters, toys and other educational materials have already been received with the support of sponsors.

Tulukoota Thailand has announced that the renovated school building along with all the newly provided facilities will be formally handed over to the school committee on Saturday, January 3, at around 2 pm. Members who are in and around Mangaluru have been invited to attend the handover programme.

The organisation expressed pride in contributing towards the welfare of anganwadi children and thanked all members and sponsors for their support, expressing hope to continue similar charitable initiatives in their hometown on a regular basis.
