Brahmavar, Jan 6: Lakshman Kotyan (46), a resident of Ulloor Uggel Betti, was found dead after allegedly committing suicide by hanging on Sunday night.

Kotyan was the president of the Commander Sports Club and was actively involved in several social and community organisations.

Known as a talented cricketer, he was widely regarded as a friendly and sociable person.

The deceased was unmarried and is survived by his mother and brother.
