Court defers hearing over Dikshit


New Delhi, Feb 23 (IANS) A Delhi court Thursday deferred till March 14 the hearing on a plea seeking a case against Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit over alleged corruption during the 2010 Commonwealth Games (CWG) here.

Right to Information activist Vivek Garg filed the application in an additional metropolitan magistrate's court.

He pleaded for registration of a case against Dikshit, her cabinet colleague Raj Kumar Chauhan and former chief of the CWG Organising Committee Suresh Kalmadi for alleged corruption in the sporting event.
