Bantwal, Jan 10: Hemalatha Chennappa Shetty (64), a resident of Kalachetan House in Vamapadavu Mavinakatte, Bantwal, and wife of the late veteran Yakshagana artist Siddakatte Chennappa Shetty, passed away at her home last Friday after a brief illness.

The deceased is survived by his three sons, relatives, and well-wishers.

The funeral of the deceased was held on Saturday with dignitaries, public darshan and final respects.
