Mangaluru, Jan 16: Srinivas University has conferred a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree upon Halady Naresh Ramadas Kini for his extensive research in the field of industrial management and work-life quality.
Kini, a retired Deputy General Manager (DGM) from MRPL Mangaluru and a current Registered Valuer with the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India (IBBI) under the ministry of corporate affairs, submitted his doctoral thesis titled 'A study on the quality of work life of middle management cadre working in shifts of the continuous process industries in coastal Karnataka state'.


The research, which provides valuable insights into the professional challenges and well-being of shift workers in the industrial sector of coastal Karnataka, was conducted under the expert guidance of Dr A Ramesh Pai of Srinivas University.
Dr Naresh Ramadas Kini is the son of the late Ramadas Kini and Shyamala R Kini, based in Mangaluru. His achievement marks a significant milestone in his distinguished career, bridging the gap between corporate experience and academic excellence.
Examiner Dr Anjali Ganesh professor, department of business administration, St Joseph Engineering College, Mangaluru, announced the doctorate in presence of Dr Shailashree Research co-ordinator, Dr A Ramesh Pai research guide and other research professors of Srinivas University, Mangaluru.
