Mangaluru: YNYSCH marks National Youth Day with personality development workshop

Mangaluru, Jan 19: The National Service Scheme (NSS) Unit of Yenepoya Naturopathy and Yogic Science College & Hospital (YNYSCH) organized a special workshop on personality development to commemorate National Youth Day 2026, celebrated annually in honour of the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda.

The event was held on January 19 at the College Auditorium. The session featured Keerty Nakray, founder and director, ORESO, Mangaluru, as the invited resource person. Keerty delivered an insightful and engaging session focusing on essential personality traits, communication skills, leadership qualities, time management, and self-confidence among students. She emphasized the importance of self-awareness and continuous personal growth for youth in shaping a progressive nation.

The programme was presided over by Dr Ajith K, NSS programme officer, who motivated students to embody the ideals of Swami Vivekananda and contribute actively to society. Faculty members, NSS volunteers, and students participated enthusiastically and appreciated the interactive workshop.

The celebration concluded with a vote of thanks and reaffirmed the institution’s commitment to youth empowerment, character building, and holistic education.
