Moodbidri, Jan 27: Three persons were injured after a goods tempo and a car collided head-on on the Nellikaru–Karkala main road near Hosmaru on Monday.
The injured have been identified as goods tempo driver Krishnaraj, car driver Lalithesh Gowda and a minor boy, Praveen. Both the car and the goods tempo were damaged in the accident.
According to sources, a family travelling in the goods tempo was heading towards Karkala to shift household items after vacating their residence when the mishap occurred.
The injured were rushed to a hospital in Udupi for treatment.
