Mangaluru, Jan 27: Podar International School celebrated the 77th Republic Day of India with great pride and patriotic spirit at the school campus.
The programme began with a warm welcome, followed by the flag hoisting ceremony. A well-coordinated march past by the Cubs and Bulbuls and the four houses—Aqua, Ignis, Terra, and Ventus—added dignity and grandeur to the occasion.
In the principal’s address, students were encouraged to work hard and continuously progress so that they are well prepared to compete in a fast-developing world. This was followed by vibrant student performances, including a mass dance by girls of grades 3, 4, and 5, a mass yoga presentation by boys of grades 3, 4, and 5, and a patriotic skit highlighting the Constitution and its significance.

The chief guest Sheethal Susheel; past president Lions Club Mulki, in the address emphasized that students are the future of the nation and highlighted the importance of believing in unity in diversity to lead the world towards a brighter future.
The celebration concluded with a strong sense of national pride, unity, and respect for the values enshrined in the Constitution.
