Mangaluru, Jan 28: A day of gratitude was solemnly and joyfully celebrated at St Theresa’s School, Bendur, Mangaluru, in the Msgr Raymond Auditorium on January 28, in honour of the outgoing Std X students. The programme was organised as a thanksgiving celebration to express appreciation, cherish fond memories, and extend heartfelt wishes to the students as they prepared to step into a new phase of life.
The event was graced by the presence of the principal, Sr Lourdes, and the vice principal, Sr Vidya, whose constant guidance and leadership have been a source of inspiration to the entire student community.

























The programme commenced with a meaningful address highlighting the importance of gratitude, growth, and remembrance. This was followed by a serene prayer service, invoking God’s blessings and expressing thankfulness for the shared journey within the lap of St. Theresa’s School. The hosts then extended a warm welcome, setting a respectful and reflective tone for the occasion.
A variety of cultural performances added colour and vibrancy to the celebration. These included a graceful lyrical dance and a skit that beautifully portrayed school life, friendships, and the valuable lessons learned over the years. An energetic entertainment dance further enlivened the atmosphere, filling the auditorium with joy and enthusiasm.
One of the major highlights of the programme was the presentation of the Prathika Alva, scholarship awarded in recognition of merit, dedication, and perseverance. The principal’s address was inspiring and motivating, encouraging the students to face the future with confidence, integrity, and determination.
As a token of love and appreciation, mementos were presented to the Std X students, followed by gifts from the Std IX students, symbolising friendship, gratitude, and enduring bonds.
The programme concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks delivered by the head boy, Roger Rebimbus, who expressed sincere gratitude to the management, teachers, organisers, and students for their support and cooperation.
The day of gratitude proved to be a memorable and meaningful occasion, leaving behind cherished memories and reaffirming the strong values and sense of belonging nurtured at St. Theresa’s School.
