Udupi, Jan 29: The six-day National Service Scheme (NSS) special camp organized by SMVITM, Bantakal, with the support of Ramakrishna Ashrama, Mangaluru, was successfully concluded on January 24, at Ramakrishna Mission, Mangaluru. The camp was inaugurated on January 19, by the Swamiji of Ramakrishna Ashrama, Mangaluru.
More than 300 NSS volunteers from SMVITM actively participated in the camp. During the six days, students took part in various social service and awareness activities and learned valuable lessons on discipline, teamwork, leadership, and social responsibility.

The valedictory function was presided over by Swami Jithakananda Swamiji, president of Ramakrishna Ashrama, Mangaluru. Addressing the gathering, Swamiji highlighted the importance of selfless service, moral values, and the role of youth in nation-building.
All NSS office bearers, faculty coordinators, and volunteers were present during the valedictory ceremony. The camp concluded successfully, leaving a lasting impression on the students and strengthening their commitment to service and social welfare.
