Mangaluru, Jan 29: St Theresa’s School, Bendur, solemnly conducted the Senior Investiture Ceremony for the academic year 2026–2027 on January 28, marking the formal installation of the newly elected senior school cabinet and prefects.
The ceremony commenced with a guard of honour accorded to the chief guest, Maanu K S, FTSC II, additional district and sessions judge (POCSO), who was accompanied by the principal, Sr Lourdes, vice principal, Sr Vidya, and other dignitaries. The School Band added ceremonial dignity to the occasion.









































The programme opened with a brief address on the importance of leadership, followed by a prayer hymn invoking God’s blessings upon the student leaders. The Welcome Address was delivered by Nishitha Soans, who encouraged the students to lead with discipline, integrity, responsibility, and a spirit of service.
A disciplined march past by the students under the guidance of their respective house prefects reflected unity, coordination, and strong leadership.
The handing over and investiture ceremony formed the core of the programme. In the presence of the principal, Sr Lourdes, sashes were invested on all the newly elected office bearers, comprising a total of 40 senior prefects, including the head boy, head girl, secretary, house prefects, and all cabinet members. The ceremony also marked the introduction of two new leadership roles for the academic year literary prefect and Bethany champions prefect—highlighting the school’s emphasis on academic excellence and value-based leadership.
Principal Sr Lourdes administered the oath of office, during which the newly invested leaders pledged to carry out their responsibilities with sincerity, integrity, and dedication to the school.
Certificates of appreciation were presented to the outgoing cabinet members in recognition of their committed and responsible service.
In his address, the chief guest urged the students to be principled leaders and responsible citizens, emphasising integrity, discipline, and a strong sense of justice. The programme concluded with the vote of thanks, followed by the National Anthem.
The senior investiture ceremony stood as a proud and meaningful occasion, reaffirming St Theresa’s School’s commitment to nurturing confident, responsible, and value-based student leaders.
