Mangaluru, Feb 9: St Agnes PU College bid a fond farewell to second-year students through a programme suffused with warmth, gratitude, and elegance. The event was held in a warm and convivial atmosphere, marking the end of an important phase in a student's academic journey.

The occasion commenced with heartfelt words of greeting by Subhashini S for the outgoing seniors, followed by a prayer song that set a reverent tone. A dance-drama, beautifully choreographed, portrayed the values instilled at St Agnes and their guiding role in the journey of life.

Representing their respective streams, Pratheeksha Rao from Arts, Sonaly Ferrao from Commerce, and Angelina D’Silva from Science eloquently expressed the collective journey of the students at St Agnes. Their reflections resonated deeply, capturing the essence of shared experiences and cherished memories.

The farewell song added a touch of nostalgia and emotion. Lively games brought joy and laughter, while a poignant PowerPoint presentation offered glimpses into the vibrant life of the second-year students and highlighted cherished memories.

A solemn highlight of the programme was the ceremonial handing over of the flag by the student cabinet to the principal, symbolizing continuity and responsibility. In her address, Sr Norine, the principal, urged the students to carry forward the values imbibed at St Agnes into every sphere of their lives. She commended the cabinet members for their yeoman services to the institution. She wished the students well, as new chapters in their lives unfolded.

The event concluded with a spirited dance performance that encapsulated youthful energy and celebration. The programme was seamlessly compered by Alisha Sequeira and Shanel D’Mello, whose grace and eloquence ensured its smooth flow.
