Mangaluru, Feb 12: The Cubs and Bulbuls investiture ceremony was held on February 9 at Mount Carmel Central School, Mangaluru. The programme commenced with the Cubs and Bulbuls along with their mentors respectfully escorting the dignitaries to the venue, setting a discipline and dignified tone for the event. This was followed by a prayer song seeking blessings on the young Cubs and Bulbuls. A warm welcome address was delivered by bulbul Jesfrin Princia Cutinho.

The Cub Flag was ceremoniously hoisted by Cub Amshuman M Shetty, symbolizing courage, service, and commitment. An inspiring address by the principal Sr Melissa, motivated the students to uphold the values of discipline, leadership, and patriotism in their daily lives.

The Cubs and Bulbuls then took the promise, pledging to follow the Cub and Bulbul Law and live by their motto, “Do Your Best”. The investiture was carried out by the principal, administrator, vice principal, flock leader, cub master and the teachers, who presented badges and scarves to the students, formally inducting them into the movement.

The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Cub Sherwin Johan Menezes and Bulbul Namasvi Poojari. The ceremony was compered by Cub Sriansh S Rai and Bulbul Sahithya Sirimane. The event was a memorable and meaningful occasion that instilled a sense of pride, responsibility, and confidence among the Cubs and Bulbuls.
