Mangaluru: Srinivas University IHMT holds flower arrangement workshop

Mangaluru, Feb 16: A flower arrangement workshop was conducted by Srinivas University Institute of Hotel Management and Tourism (IHMT) on February 10 for KICT and MCTC students.

The session, that was well organised and coordinated by Prof Dhanraj Shetty , covered basic techniques, design principles, and creative expression. Students learned various styles and arrangements using seasonal and exotic flowers.

Prof Subrat Saraf, Prof Dhanraj Shetty and Prof Ramya were the resource persons of the workshop, who guided and instructed the final year students to help the participants get trained in the skill.

The workshop enhanced their skills and creativity, providing hands-on experience in floral design. The event was informative, interactive, and well-received by participants. On the occasion, Dean Prof B Prashant Prabhu welcomed the gathering of learners , trainers and other Faculty members.

KICT and MCTC students gained valuable insights into the art of flower arrangement, adding to their hospitality skills. The institute thanked Srinivas University for the engaging session.
