58-year-old man from Marakada reported missing; Kavoor police seek public help

Mangaluru, Feb 17: A 58-year-old resident of Marakada Andala Beedu has been reported missing after he failed to return home on February 13.

According to a complaint lodged at Kavoor Police Station, K Suresh Acharya (58) left his residence at around 10.30 am on his motorcycle, stating that he was heading for work. However, he did not return home thereafter.

Family members searched for him at various places across the city and also enquired with relatives and friends, but his whereabouts remain unknown. Subsequently, a missing person case has been registered at the Kavoor police station.

Suresh Acharya is approximately 5.5 feet tall with a round face. At the time of leaving home, he was reportedly wearing a full-sleeved shirt and trousers. He is fluent in Tulu, Kannada, English and Hindi.

Police have appealed to the public to provide any information regarding the missing person. Those who spot a person matching the description are requested to contact Kavoor police station immediately.
