Mumbai: Karnataka Mahamandala–Bhayandar to Celebrate ‘Women’s Day’ on Mar 8

Mumbai, Mar 2: The women’s wing of Karnataka Mahamandala–Bhayandar will be organizing ‘Women’s Day’ celebrations and discussion meet at Tejo Bhavan Hall, Goddhevnaka, above Bharat Bank, B P Road, Bhayandar (East), at 4.00 pm on Thursday March 8.

‘Harikatha’ on ‘Mahasati Anusuya’ will be presented by Haridas Dhananjay Shanthi on the occasion.

The women members will stage a dance, devotional singing, and folk singing as part of cultural programmes.

A discussion meet will be held on the topic “Whether Employed women are Able Housewives’.

Two women members of different organizations from across the metro are expected to enroll their names latest by Tuesday March 6.

Karnataka Mahamandal–Bhayandar women’s wing president Sujata Kundar, vice-president Asha Shetty, Sumangala Kananchar, Sheela Shetty, and office-bearers of women’s executive committee urged the women members to attend the programme in large numbers.
