Mangaluru: Mount Carmel School hosts UKG Convocation Ceremony 2025–2026

Media Release

Mangaluru, Mar 4: Mount Carmel School hosted the Kindergarten Convocation Ceremony for UKG A, B, and C for the academic year 2025–2026 in an atmosphere filled with pride, celebration and heartfelt emotions as the little graduates bid farewell to their kindergarten years.

The programme opened with a graceful procession as the tiny scholars marched into the venue along with the chief guest, the principal, and members of the management. The ceremony commenced with a reverent prayer led by the UKG students.

Through a delightful welcome performance, the LKG students confidently shared the various skills they learnt through the year and expressed that with these strong foundations, they are ready to fly ‘Higher and Nobler,’ the cherished motto of the school. This was followed by a warm and thoughtful welcome address delivered by Leon, Miara, Eva, and Ashlyn.

The chief guest, Sr Marie Evelyn AC, a senior clinical psychologist associated with NIMHANS, was formally introduced. As a gesture of respect and gratitude, the Principal, Sr Melissa, presented a sapling to the chief guest, symbolising care, growth, and hope.

A significant part of the programme was the graduation pledge, administered by the principal. In her address, the principal encouraged the students to dream big, shine bright and achieve success.

The celebration continued with a melodious graduation song sung by the UKG students, followed by heartfelt expressions of gratitude from the graduates. The audience was further delighted by energetic action dance performances by nursery students and a vibrant action song by the LKG students, which brought colour and excitement to the programme.

Parents’ impressions formed a touching segment of the ceremony. The chief guest began by warmly congratulating the little graduates and then shared a meaningful message about ‘GPS’ — not the Global Positioning System, but a life guide to always place God, parents, self, and society in the right order of priority. Addressing the parents, she beautifully explained the ‘ABC of Life.’ Under ‘A,’ she highlighted the importance of availability, appreciation, acceptance, and affection; ‘B’ stood for strong bonding with their children; and ‘C’ emphasized connectivity, communication, and consciousness — being mindful and aware of their words and actions while nurturing their child.”

The felicitation ceremony was a proud and memorable moment as the UKG A, B, and C students received their graduation certificates from the chief guest.

The programme concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks delivered by Chiranth, Naifa, Jevin, Rihanvi, and Joanna.

The ceremony was smoothly and confidently compered by the student masters of ceremony—Druvi, Manvik, Takshay, Samanvi, Vibha, and Aniketh—whose poise and clarity added grace to the entire celebration.
