Karkala, Mar 11: The Karkala Town police have arrested an accused who had been absconding for the past four years without appearing before the court.
The arrested person has been identified as Ibrahim alias Ibbu. He was an accused in a criminal case registered at the Karkala Town police station and had been evading arrest while remaining on the run from the police.
Based on credible information, the warrant staff of the police station, including Lokesh and Sanjay, conducted a raid in Shivamogga district and successfully apprehended the accused.
The arrested individual was later produced before the Karkala court, where the judge ordered that he be remanded to judicial custody.
