Mangaluru, Mar 11: The Karnataka Konkani Sahitya Academy will organise a poetry meet titled ‘Kavyam Vhalo-12’ at the academy auditorium on March 14, 2026 at 4 pm.
Academy president Joachim Stany Alvares will preside over the programme. Senior Konkani playwright Edolfus Coutinho (Dolla Mangaluru) will participate as the chief guest.
On the occasion, senior Konkani activist Geetha C Kini will be felicitated.
Renowned poetess Salomi D’Souza will chair the poets’ meet. Poets Valerian Sequeira, Melvin Vas Neermarga, Flavia Castelino, Anthony Lewis Manipal, Roshan Castelino, Shaila Manglurkar, Stany D’Souza, Satyavathi Kamath, Suvarna Gaad Honnavar and Poornima Suresh will recite their poems.
Konkani community members have been requested to participate in large numbers in the programme.
