23-year-old Karnataka youth killed in road accident on Canacona Bypass

Panaji, Mar 17: A tragic road accident on the Rajbag–Canacona Manohar Parrikar Bypass claimed the life of a 23-year-old youth from Karnataka on Tuesday.

The deceased has been identified as Pritam Ranganath, a resident of Chitradurga. According to reports, the accident occurred when the motorcycle he was riding lost control and crashed into a divider along the bypass.

Pritam died on the spot due to the impact of the collision. Another youth who was travelling with him on the motorcycle sustained serious injuries in the crash.

The injured person has been shifted to Goa Medical College (GMC) for treatment, where his condition is reported to be critical.
Police have registered a case and launched an investigation to determine the exact cause of the accident.
