Bantwal: 18-year-old girl goes missing after leaving for work

Bantwal, Mar 26: An 18-year-old girl from Bantwal has been reported missing after she failed to return home from work, raising concern among her family members.

The missing girl has been identified as Fatimath Ibra, daughter of Abdul Rasheed, a resident of Mularpatt Azad Nagar in Arala village.

According to sources, Fatimath, who had completed her PUC and undergone computer training, was working at a cyber centre in BC Road. She had left for work on March 24 but did not return home thereafter.

When her family contacted the workplace owner, Mannur, he reportedly stated that she had not come to work on that day.

Following a complaint lodged by her mother Raziya, a case has been registered at the Bantwal Rural police station. Police have launched a search operation and are investigating the matter.
