Mangaluru, Mar 27: Sanjoop K P, assistant professor, department of English, School of Languages & Cultural Studies of St Aloysius (Deemed to be University), has been awarded PhD degree for his thesis titled 'Contemporary Kerala and the Production of Hegemonic Masculinity' from Mangalore University.

He carried out his research under the guidance of Dr Parinitha, professor of English, Mangalore University.

He is the proud son of Ashokan K P and Valsala T, and husband of Amritha C.
