Udupi, Mar 27: The Chappar Muhurta of the Brahmakalashotsava, scheduled to be held from March 16 to March 20 at Bannanje Mahalingeshwara Temple, was conducted with traditional religious rituals in the temple premises.
Addressing the gathering, Uchila Mogaveera Mahajana Sangha president Jay C Kotian emphasized the spiritual importance of the ritual, stating that Chappar Muhurta is a significant religious event and that Annadana is considered the greatest form of charity. He called upon devotees in large numbers to participate in the celebration and receive the blessings of the deity, expressing hope that the celebrations would be conducted in a grand manner.







Jayakar Shetty Indrali, president of Badagabettu Credit Cooperative Society, said that the intention to purchase land required for the temple from one’s own earnings is a commendable act. He wished that all religious rituals be conducted successfully. He added that in the cultural city of Udupi, the continued organization of Brahmakalashotsava and such spiritual events can be considered nothing short of a miracle, and expressed hope that such programs would continue smoothly without interruption.
Ramesh Kanchan welcomed the guests, and Subramanya Rao delivered the vote of thanks.
