Mangaluru–Mumbai flight frequency rises; up to six services daily in summer schedule

Mangaluru, Mar 30: Flight connectivity between Mangaluru International Airport and the Mumbai region has increased, with up to six flights operating daily under the new summer schedule that commenced on Sunday, officials said.

According to the revised timetable, five flights will be available on Mondays and Thursdays, including services by IndiGo operating two flights each to Navi Mumbai and Mumbai, and one flight to Mumbai by Air India Express.

On the remaining five days of the week—Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday—six flights will operate between Mangaluru and the Mumbai region. IndiGo will run two flights each to Navi Mumbai and Mumbai, while Air India Express will operate one service to Mumbai.

Passenger movement also remained steady, with multiple arrivals and departures recorded on Sunday. Flights from Navi Mumbai brought in 94, 51 and 108 passengers respectively, while outbound flights from Mangaluru to Navi Mumbai carried 128, 121 and 165 passengers, the release added.
