Mangaluru, Apr 3: St Joseph Engineering College (SJEC) men’s & women’s team delivered impressive performances at VTU State-Level Taekwondo Championship held on April 2 at SIT, Tumakuru. The teams showcased remarkable skills and determination under the guidance of Vaneesha V Rodrigues, physical education director (PED) and Sudheer, assistant PED.
• Deekshitha Prasanth Nair (VI sem CSE) secured second place in the below 67 kg category.
• Aksa Prem Kumar (VI sem CSE) secured third place in the below 49 kg category.
• Sivaraj MV (IV sem ME) secured third place in the below 68 kg category.
• Malatesh Sadananad Angadi (II sem ECE) secured third place in below 74 VTU State Level Taekwondo Championship
The management of SJEC has congratulated the teams and the physical education directors for bringing laurels to the institution with this outstanding achievement at the VTU State Level championship.
