Tel Aviv, Apr 4: The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said it destroyed a rocket launcher used in a large-scale attack targeting northern regions of Israel, including Haifa, Nahariya, and the Galilee area.
According to reports, at least 15 rockets were fired in the barrage, with most intercepted or landing in open areas. Authorities, including Magen David Adom, confirmed that no civilian casualties were reported despite sirens being triggered across northern Israel.

“The IDF will act to remove threats to the residents of the State of Israel and will continue to operate with determination against the Hezbollah terrorist organisation,” the military said in a statement.
Later in the day, the IDF announced that it had launched a series of strikes targeting Hezbollah positions in Beirut.
The military also stated that its elite Multidimensional Unit, known as the Refaim Unit, has killed over 40 Hezbollah operatives since the beginning of ground operations in southern Lebanon as part of Operation Roaring Lion. The unit has reportedly struck more than 75 targets linked to the group.
In a separate operation on Thursday, the IDF said it destroyed another rocket launcher that was prepared to fire projectiles towards Israel, killing three operatives at the site. Additionally, six more Hezbollah members were killed in another incident, according to the military.
Further developments are awaited as tensions continue to escalate in the region.
