KUPMA leaders felicitated for outstanding organisational excellence at Dharwad event

Dharwad, Apr 4: Narendra L Nayak, president of Expert Group Education Institution and secretary of the Kupma State Committee, was felicitated by Legislative Council chairman Basavaraj Horatti at the inauguration of the Dharwad District Kupma Committee.

Nayak was honoured for his exceptional work in expanding the Kupma organisation at the state level and demonstrating remarkable organisational leadership. His contributions to the development of education and his active role in Kupma initiatives were particularly praised.

Speaking after the felicitation, Basavaraj Horatti emphasised the importance of strong organisational structures in the education sector. He said, “Delivering quality education across the state requires the optimal use of human resources, proper teacher training, and collaboration among educational institutions. Organisations like Kupma play a vital role in raising educational standards, which ultimately drives the overall development of society.”

The programme was attended by a host of prominent dignitaries, including Dr M Mohan Alva, president of the Kupma State Committee; Dr Vishwanath Koravi, president of Dharwad District Kupma; Tejashwini Narayankar, Dharwad DDPU; Anil Kumar Chougala, Kupma secretary; Nagesh Annigeri, general secretary; G V Valsang, president; P R Hanchinmani; Mallikarjun Savukar; Ashraf Ali Basheer Ahmad; Basavaraj Konnur; Vasanth Horatti, vice-president; Dr Veena Biradar; Savita Amarsetti; and Noor Ahmad, treasurer, Dharwad. Their presence added grandeur and significance to the event, highlighting the importance of collective leadership in strengthening educational initiatives.
