Dehradun, Mar 7 (IANS): Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders are meeting to discuss a strategy to gather support to form the government in Uttarakhand, Chief Minister B.C. Khanduri said Wednesday.
"Our senior leaders have come from Delhi and we are meeting to discuss what the strategy is. It will be decided during the meeting," Khanduri, who lost his own Kotdwar seat, told reporters here.
The BJP won 31 seats, one behind Congress' 32 in the 70-member house.
"We will see what can be possibly done. We are also looking at those who are willing to support and on what terms and conditions," he said.
The Bahujan Samaj Party won three seats and four were bagged by smaller groups and independents.
