St Inez, Apr 5: An attempted theft at the Silvio Building in St. Inez caused panic among shopkeepers and locals on Sunday, police said.

According to sources, unidentified individuals tried to break into around ten shops within the complex, carrying dangerous weapons and attempting to force open shutters. Fortunately, no major theft was reported, and the incident was contained before any property was stolen.

The entire episode was captured on the building’s CCTV cameras, which recorded the movements of the accused. Authorities are reviewing the footage to identify the suspects and take appropriate legal action.
