Florida, Apr 7: Former Migos rapper Offset was injured in a shooting outside a casino in Florida, according to US media reports.
The 34-year-old artiste, whose real name is Kiari Kendrell Cephus, is currently in a stable condition and is being closely monitored in hospital, a spokesperson said.
Police confirmed that the incident occurred on Monday evening after 7 pm at the valet area outside the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood. Authorities stated that the shooting resulted in non-life-threatening injuries to one individual.

The Seminole Police Department said two people have been detained in connection with the incident and that the investigation is ongoing.
Offset is widely known as a member of the hip-hop trio Migos, alongside Quavo and Takeoff. The group rose to fame with hits like Versace in 2013 and Bad and Boujee in 2017, the latter topping the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
He married Cardi B in 2017, and the couple have three children. They later separated and filed for divorce in 2024.
Following the group’s split in 2022, Offset pursued a solo career, while Quavo and Takeoff formed the duo Unc & Phew. Later that year, Takeoff was shot dead in Houston, Texas, in an incident that shocked the music industry.
Further details regarding the latest shooting are awaited as authorities continue their probe.
