Mangaluru, Apr 8: A press conference was held at the Mangaluru Press Club by Shriram Finance Limited to announce a large-scale social initiative titled 'Shriram Saarathi Sangama', aimed at supporting the transport community and the general public.
Addressing the media, representatives of the company stated that Shriram Finance Limited, which has been serving customers successfully for the past 52 years, is organizing this grand event as part of its commitment to social responsibility. The programme is scheduled to take place on April 9 from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm at Adyar Garden, Mangaluru.

The event will feature an extensive exhibition of new vehicles and machinery from leading brands. Special offers, including discounted prices on same-day vehicle bookings, 50% concession on service charges, and attractive interest rate benefits, will be provided to customers.
In addition to the commercial aspects, several welfare initiatives will be conducted, including a free health check-up camp, blood donation drive, eye and ear screening, and awareness about scholarship schemes. Students from the families of transport workers and vehicle owners who have scored above 60% from class 8 to 12 will be eligible to receive information and application forms for scholarships.
The programme will be attended by several distinguished guests, including Umesh G Revankar, executive vice chairman of Shriram Finance Limited; Deepak Shetty, CEO and MD of JCB India Limited; UT Khader, Hon’ble speaker of the Karnataka Legislative Assembly; Sudarshan Holla Balad, COO and JMD of Shriram Finance Limited; Captain Brijesh Chowta, member of parliament (Dakshina Kannada); D Vedavyas Kamath, MLA (Mangaluru South); Ivan D’Souza, MLC; Nilesh Odedara, JMD and chief sales officer; and Sridhar Math, executive director and business unit head of Shriram Finance Limited.
On the occasion, Sharachandra Bhat Kakunje, chairman and zonal business head of Shriram Finance Limited, along with officials Nagaraj, Chethan Aras, Chandrahass Alva, Sachin, and Jitesh, were present and formally announced the event.
