Goa moves HC to revoke bail in Mapusa forgery case

Panaji, Apr 10: The Goa government has approached the High Court seeking cancellation of bail granted to accused Ajay Gupta in connection with a document forgery case registered by Mapusa Police.

Taking cognisance of the plea, the High Court has issued a notice to the accused and fixed May 4 as the date for further hearing.

In its petition, the state has requested the court to withdraw the bail, citing reasons related to the ongoing probe in the case.
