Karkala: Sri Mahaganapati Consecration, Brahmakalashotsava held at Jnanasudha Institutions

Karkala, Apr 13: The consecration and Brahmakalashotsava of Lord Sri Mahaganapati were held with religious fervor at the newly constructed temple premises within the campus of Jnanasudha English Medium High School and Pre-University College in Ajekaru, Karkala, on April 12.

Addressing the religious gathering, Sri Vidyaprasanna Swamiji of Subrahmanya Math, in his benedictory speech, said that true life lies in living for oneself while also allowing others to live peacefully.

The programme was presided over by MLA Sunil Kumar, who lauded Jnanasudha Educational Institutions for bringing about an educational revolution in the region.

Renowned educationist Mohan Alva of Alva’s Education Institutions offered floral tributes on the occasion.

Dr Sudhakar Shetty welcomed the gathering and delivered the introductory remarks, while Damodar Sharma compered the programme.

Several dignitaries were present on the occasion, including former minister Abhayachandra Jain, Shivaram Shetty, president of Ballari Merchant Trust M G Gowda, entrepreneur Mahesh Shetty Kudupalaje, entrepreneur Shashidhar Shetty, Jagadish Karanth, Kamalaksha Nayak, and Dr Santosh Kumar Shetty of Ajekaru.
