Mangaluru, Apr 13: The management of Sri Narayana Guru Education Institutions, Mulki, celebrated the institution's outstanding performance in the 2025–26 academic year II PUC examinations by visiting the residences of state rank holders to felicitate them in the presence of their families.
A delegation from the Lalitha R Salian Charitable Trust, Mulki, led by its president Bhaskar M Salian (director of Bharat Bank), senior journalist and trustee Harishchandra S Suvarna, treasurer Hemraj Salian, and trustee Yogish Kotian, personally congratulated the students. The institution achieved a 100% pass rate in both the Commerce and Science streams this year.




Top achievers The students who brought laurels to the institution include:

Diya (Commerce): Secured the state-level 7th rank with 594/600 marks.

Purvi H Poojary (Commerce): Secured the state-level 9th rank with 592/600 marks.

Shravya S K (Science): Secured the state-level 10th rank with 590/600 marks.
The management team presented mementos to the rank holders and expressed their appreciation for the students' discipline and hard work, as well as the unwavering support provided by their families.
A legacy of service
Speaking on the occasion, Bhaskar M Salian recalled the vision of the trust’s founders, the late Rukkarama Salian and founding member Lalitha Rukkarama Salian. He noted that the founders established the institution in the 1980s after recognizing the need for English-medium education in Mulki, specifically to empower students from economically weaker sections. Inspired by the teachings of Sri Narayana Guru, the institution was built on the values of equality and social upliftment through education.
The management also lauded the dedicated efforts of the teaching staff. The trustees noted that teachers went beyond regular hours, conducting special classes and providing personalized guidance to ensure every student reached their full potential.
The current board of trustees stated that they remain committed to carrying forward the legacy of Rukkarama Salian by shaping future achievers through quality education and holistic development.
