Mumbai, Apr 16: The Government of Maharashtra on Monday carried out a minor bureaucratic reshuffle, transferring five IAS officers across key departments.
Among the changes, Dr. B.N. Patil, who was serving as Director of Tourism in Mumbai, has been appointed as Project Director of the RUSA initiative under the Higher and Technical Education Department.
Mangesh Joshi, previously Deputy Director General at YASHADA in Pune, will now take over as Director of Tourism in Mumbai.

Kuladeep Jangam, who was Chief Executive Officer of Zilla Parishad in Solapur, has been moved to the post of Additional Municipal Commissioner at the Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation.
Kushal Jain, serving as Project Officer in ITDP at Aheri in Gadchiroli, has been appointed as CEO of Zilla Parishad, Solapur.
Revaiah Dongre, Assistant Collector in Bhoom subdivision of Dharashiv, has been posted as Project Officer, ITDP, Pandharkawda, along with responsibilities as Assistant Collector of Kelapur subdivision in Yavatmal.
Earlier, on April 7, the state government had undertaken a larger reshuffle involving 11 IAS officers. Key appointments included:
Rahul Ranjan Mahiwal being posted as Member Secretary of the Maharashtra Council of Agricultural Education and Research in Pune, while Shweta Singhal has been assigned the role of Special Resident Commissioner at Maharashtra Sadan in New Delhi.
Ruchesh Jaivanshi has taken charge as Managing Director of the Maharashtra State Farming Corporation in Pune, and Kanhuraj Bagate has been appointed Joint Managing Director at MAHADISCOM in Kalyan.
Laxman Raut has been named CEO of the Maharashtra State Khadi Village Industries Board in Mumbai, while Geetanjali Baviskar moves to the Planning Department at Mantralaya as Joint Secretary.
Dilip Jagdale has been posted as Joint Secretary in the Water Supply and Sanitation Department, and Pankaj Deore now serves as Secretary of the Maharashtra State Commission for Protection of Child Rights.
Minal Karanwal has been appointed Project Director of the Nanaji Deshmukh Krishi Sanjivanee Project (POCRA) in Mumbai, while Karishma Nair takes over as CEO of Zilla Parishad in Jalgaon.
Amit Ranjan has been posted as Additional Municipal Commissioner at the Nashik Municipal Corporation in Nashik.
The reshuffle reflects the state government’s ongoing efforts to streamline administrative functions and enhance governance efficiency across departments.
