Kundapur, Apr 17: The ATL School support activity titled “IoT application development: A practical approach” was conducted at Saraswathi Vidyalaya English Medium School, Gangolli, Kundapur on April 7 by the students of SMVITM, Bantakal, Udupi.

The session aimed to introduce students to the fundamentals of Internet of Things (IoT) and provide them with practical exposure to real-world applications through an engaging and hands-on learning approach.

The primary objective of the activity was to help students understand and build simple applications using Arduino. In addition, the session focused on encouraging interactive learning through question-and-answer discussions and quizzes, which helped reinforce concepts in an engaging manner.

The activity was conducted by the ATL Support Cell of SMVITM in association with IEEE SIGHT SMVITM. The session was supported by dedicated student mentors, namely Bhushan Poojary, Shreekiran, Suraj Bhagavat, Riston, and Pradyumna; Students 6th semester AI and DS, and faculty member Raghavendra Hegde, assistant professor (senior), department of CSE, Shri Madhwa Vadiraja Institute of Technology and Management, Bantakal, Udupi who guided the participants throughout the session and assisted them in understanding the concepts clearly.
