Washington, Apr 19: A United Airlines flight travelling from Chicago to New York was forced to make an emergency diversion to Pittsburgh International Airport on Saturday following a reported security concern, prompting a precautionary evacuation of all passengers.
According to officials, United Flight 2092, a Boeing 737 carrying 159 passengers and six crew members, landed safely at around 11:45 am local time after the crew alerted authorities about a possible threat.

The aircraft, originally bound for LaGuardia Airport, was immediately surrounded by security personnel upon landing. Passengers were evacuated using emergency slides as a safety measure.
Authorities, including the Allegheny County Police bomb squad and K-9 units, conducted a thorough inspection of the aircraft. The search yielded no suspicious findings, and the plane was subsequently cleared.
The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) confirmed it was aware of the reported threat, though the exact nature of the concern has not been disclosed. Investigations into the incident are currently underway.
Airport officials stated that emergency response teams acted swiftly, assisting in the safe evacuation of passengers and transporting them to the terminal. No injuries were reported.
