Utah, Apr 23: Inter Miami CF produced a strong away performance to defeat Real Salt Lake 2-0 at America First Field, extending their unbeaten run in the MLS regular season to eight matches.
The breakthrough came late in the contest after a tightly contested first half. The opening 45 minutes remained goalless despite chances on both sides, with Inter Miami’s best opportunity arriving in the 22nd minute when Lionel Messi tested the Real Salt Lake goalkeeper with a left-footed effort from inside the box.

Real Salt Lake also threatened after the break, but Inter Miami goalkeeper Óscar Ustari stood firm, including a key save in the 59th minute to deny Alexandros Katranis and keep the match level.
The deadlock was finally broken in the 82nd minute through a spectacular strike from Rodrigo De Paul. Receiving a pass from Segovia outside the box, he curled a precise shot into the top-right corner to give Inter Miami the lead.
Barely a minute later, the visitors doubled their advantage when Luis Suárez finished clinically with a powerful left-footed half-volley from inside the area, sealing the result.
The victory marked Inter Miami’s second straight away win and strengthened their strong road record this season, with five wins, one draw, and just one loss, placing them among the top-performing teams in Major League Soccer.
The match also highlighted the team’s growing attacking depth, as they continue to build momentum in the early stages of the campaign.
