Bengaluru, Apr 29: Actor Yash has confirmed that his much-anticipated film Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups will not release on June 4 as earlier scheduled, marking the second postponement for the project.
The film was initially slated for release on March 19 before being pushed to June, and will now arrive in theatres worldwide on a new date yet to be announced.

In a statement released on Tuesday, Yash said the decision followed the film’s strong reception at CinemaCon, where it reportedly generated considerable interest among international buyers and industry professionals.
“There are films we make, and then there are films that remind us why we fell in love with cinema. Toxic has been one such journey,” Yash said, adding the team wanted the film to achieve its “fullest potential worldwide”.
Directed by Geethu Mohandas, the film had earlier been delayed amid concerns over a smooth international rollout during tensions in the Middle East.
Reports also suggest pending post-production work, including CGI, possible reshoots and final cut refinements may have contributed to the latest postponement.
While the makers have not announced a revised release date, speculation suggests the film could now target a later release window this year.
The team is also said to be working on digital distribution deals and other formalities ahead of the global launch.
With expectations high following the success of K.G.F: Chapter 2, fans are eagerly awaiting the new release date for Toxic.
