Mangaluru, Apr 29: Dakshina Kannada deputy commissioner Darshan H V visited the Link De-addiction and Comprehensive Rehabilitation Centre in Bajal on Wednesday to review its activities and facilities.
During the visit, the deputy commissioner gathered detailed information regarding the various programmes conducted by the institution. He lauded the efforts of the Link Centre in its mission to rehabilitate individuals struggling with substance abuse.
Lydia Lobo, the administrator of the institution, provided a comprehensive briefing on the operational activities and the support systems offered to the inmates.
Dr Sudarshan C M, district mental health programme implementation officer; Austin Peris, secretary of the Link management committee; and Divya from the district mental health programme were present and facilitated the visit.
