SJEC men’s volleyball team finishes runners-up in VTU Mangaluru division tournament

Mangaluru, Apr 30: St Joseph Engineering College (SJEC) men’s volleyball team has emerged as runners in the VTU Mangaluru Division Volleyball Tournament held at SCEM, Adyar on April 27 & 28 under the guidance of physical education director (PED), Vaneesha V Rodrigues and assistant PED, Sudheer M Karthik Raj of III-year EEE secured best all-rounder of the tournament.

The winning squads featured talented players from UG & PG programmes:

Kevin Monteiro (1st year MBA), Harsha Kumar (4th sem civil), Vishal Fernandes (2nd sem Mech), Karthik Gouda (6th sem CSE), Vedant Tamse (2nd sem AIML), Pramith P Devadiga (2nd sem CSDS), Abhinandan Bekal (2nd sem Mech), Rahil Rodrigues (4th sem CSE), Koushik Raj (4th sem EEE), Joshua Fernandes (2nd sem CSDS), Bhuvanesh (3rd year ECE) and Skanda (4th sem ME)

The management of SJEC congratulated the team and the physical education directors for bringing laurels to the institution with this outstanding achievement.
