Fire breaks out at RBI building in Delhi; six tenders rushed

New Delhi, May 5: A fire broke out at the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) building on Parliament Street here on Tuesday, prompting authorities to rush six fire tenders to the spot, officials said.

According to the Delhi Fire Services, a call regarding the blaze was received at 1.05 pm, with initial reports indicating that the fire originated from solar panels installed on the terrace of the building.

“We rushed six fire tenders to the spot, and further details are awaited,” a fire department official said.

No immediate reports of casualties or major damage were available at the time of filing the report.
